Prof. Sodiya was ecstatic to put it on record that as President of the Nigerian Computer Society and a Professor of Cybersecurity, “I am happy that this infant University is starting a course in Forensic Science; I have not seen it anywhere in the country; it is a modern programme that is innovative; this shows that the Admiralty University of Nigeria is planning for the future.” Prof. Sodiya expressed appreciation to the University for the warm reception accorded the teams, especially by being treated to a cocktail on arrival the previous day.

The panels carried out the accreditation exercise by a visit to the university library, the departments, classrooms, laboratories, multipurpose hall, hostels, toilets and a walk around the serene environment for an on-the-spot assessment to aid their peer review findings.

At the end of the exercise, each of the teams held an exit debriefing at the conference room with the Vice-chancellor and presented their report and findings to the Vice-Chancellor for his signature.

The outcome of the exercise will be made known by the National University Commission.
