ADMISSIONS OFFICE
INTRODUCTION - MODUS OPERANDI
Admissions Office is an arm of the Registry Department, saddled with the mandate of:
- ensuring that ADUN admission processes are in line with the JAMB admission requirements,
- attract the right students with the right qualifications and,
- work with all stakeholders at ensuring successful adherence to the admission processes.
ACTIVITIES
- regular in-house training for ADUN staff, sensitizing everyone that “Admission is Everybody’s Business”.
- sensitization and awareness raising visits to JAMB-Approved CBT centres before, during and after JAMB registration
- regular physical face-to-face ADUN admission promotions/sensitization across states of the federation
- intensive radio, print and social media jingles and advert placements in raising public awareness
- partnering with admission stakeholders for awareness raising at public seminars/workshops.
- Data gathering, Research & Reporting.
STAFF STRENGTH & LEADERSHIP
The Admissions office which is made up of three (3) administrative staff.
UNITS
- Stakeholders & Communication Unit: handles the daily correspondence from and to all internal and external admission stakeholders
- Admission Records/Statistics Unit. Ensures accurate and analytical analysis of all students records for all admission sessions.
- Desk-Office. handles all enquiries from students parents and admission seekers on daily basis.
