Overview

The Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN) is owned by the Nigerian Navy (via its Navy Holdings Limited).

The main campus of the University is located on 100 hectares of land at Ibusa – Ogwashi-Uku Expressway, Delta State, about 20km from Asaba, the Delta State capital. The University also has another campus located on 203 acres of land at the existing site of the Nigerian Navy Engineering College, in Sapele (Sapele Local Government Area). Both campuses of the University are well developed for academic activities.

The main objective of the University include: to expand the frontiers of knowledge in various unique specializations such as maritime, Logistics Management, Forensic and Cyber Security Sciences; to use university education as a tool towards development and the enhancement of human well being; to address the challenges of nation-building in Nigeria; and to raise exemplary leaders who will serve humanity with distinction.

The Motto of ADUN – “Excellence in Education” – derives naturally from the commitment to professionalism by every member of its academic and administrative community and dedication to serve in the tradition of the Nigerian Navy.

The University supports modern internationally inspired curricular, with emphasis on skills acquisition, industry-readiness and a must learn focus on information technology. Our small class sizes and a guaranteed uninterrupted academic calendar enable students to graduate on schedule.
